The Role

The team is looking for an experienced account manager responsible for sustaining and evolving long-term relationships with clients to build their brand to make a difference in peoples lives.

The Account Manager assists the Chief Brand Strategist in client servicing since you will be the face of the company and the main representative for client communication. It is important for you to manage the expectations of the clients. When disruptions occur during the process, it is imperative that you work to resolve situations quickly, as your goal is to win their repeat business.

Effective Communicator

You have strong analytical and communication skills since your primary role is to build prospecting for new clients and generate income by nurturing existing client relationships.

You will act as the key contact and liaison between Bluethumb and the client. You must be persistent at getting feedback from the client and relay it to the creative team so that projects get completed.

Good Listener

Listening to each client in order to gain an understanding of their individualized needs, in order to direct and advise them on how to build their brand and be able to relay this to creative team correctly.

Collaborative and Optimistic

Handling a number of accounts, you must be a multitasker and be expected to monitor the project every step of the way, whilst creating an enjoyable work environment and keeping the momentum going.

Efficient Team Player

You can deliver in a timely manner knowing that the team is depending on you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Arranging meetings and liaising with clients to understand their requirements
  • Quality control of all work that is submitted to clients
  • Disclosing campaign details to the client and all team members
  • Monitoring all stages of campaigns to guarantee that they run smoothly
  • Writing contact reports throughout the duration of the project to keep clients and peers updated
  • Ensuring that the project stays within the allocated budget
  • Administration tasks that will help to keep campaigns well-managed and organized
  • Offering creative ideas to the Creative Director and Chief Brand Strategist to develop exciting concepts and encourage clients to understand the importance of branding throughout projects

Job Requirements

A Relevant Work Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Marketing related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in account management, client servicing, and project management.
  • Your past or previous experience in the communications and creative field is viewed as an advantage. This includes industries such as—branding, advertising, marketing, events, film, media, and design.
